Topic - The Request for Proposal (RFP) Process
Note that the types of RFP's I have selected were chosen because there are many examples to go by (since they are government and therefore public record). Once a group of students completes one system - the next group can move to the next type of system. You will be posting and sharing via the bulletin board. I will track the contributions to the RFP there.
Group 1
In this assignment you will act as a consultant to the City of Daytona Beach. The city wishes to purchase a software to manage their board agenda and believes that this will streamline their operations. You are part of the team that will be working on the preparation of the RFP. You have been asked to prepare a list of software functional requirements that you will review with representatives of the city.
Using internet resources and previous RFP applications you must prepare a master list of software functional requirements for the agenda management system. You may work with other students in the class to prepare this master list through the bulletin board.
Each student should prepare their master list and submit to the drop box as a pdf or word file. I only want the functional requirements of a potential agenda management system.
Group 2
